One platform. Every part of your school.
School STS brings admissions, attendance, fees, exams, communication and more into one connected system, so students learn better, parents stay informed and teachers get their time back.
What is School STS?
STS is a complete school management platform. Every department works from the same live data, so nothing is entered twice and nothing gets lost.
Automate
Attendance, fee reminders, report cards and timetables run without manual paperwork.
Connect
Students, parents, teachers and administrators share one transparent system.
Analyze
Real-time dashboards turn school data into clear decisions.
Every part of the school, part by part
Fourteen modules arranged in three stages. They work together out of the box, so you can start with Stage 1 and add the rest as your school grows.

Learn how machines learn, then make them do your boring work
School (Class 6 to 12) and college (UG and diploma). No prior coding needed.
Concepts
Four ideas that explain most of AI
Start here. Every chart and diagram further down builds on these.
Data is the textbook
A model learns from examples: photos with labels, emails marked spam, marks and pass or fail. Better examples make a better model.
A model is a pattern finder
Inside is a big formula with adjustable numbers called weights. Training adjusts the weights until predictions match the examples.
Loss measures mistakes
The loss is one number that says how wrong the model is. Learning means making that number smaller, step by step.
Automation does the routine
Automation follows rules: when this happens, do that. AI adds judgement, such as reading a message or sorting a photo.
A short history of AI
Chart Lab
Touch the charts
Each chart below responds to you. Move a slider, press a button and watch what changes.
Gradient descent: walking downhill
The curve is the loss. The ball starts high and takes steps toward the bottom. The learning rate sets the step size. Too small is slow. Too big and it overshoots.
Activation functions
Each artificial neuron squeezes its input through a curve. Sigmoid maps to 0 to 1, tanh to -1 to 1, and ReLU passes positives and blocks negatives. Click a name in the legend to hide it.
ReLU is popular in deep networks because it is cheap to compute and keeps gradients alive.
Underfit, just right, overfit
A model that is too simple misses the pattern. One that is too complex memorises the training data, including its noise, and fails on new data. Pick the complexity where the validation error is lowest.
Illustrative curves, not real measurements.
Build a pass or fail predictor
Each dot is a made-up student: hours studied across, outcome by colour. Slide the line. Students to its right are predicted to pass. Watch the confusion matrix and scores update.
A 12-week study plan
One way to split twelve weeks if you can give a few hours each week. Change the order to suit your syllabus. The roadmap section lists what to do in each block.
Diagrams

Computer automation
Let the computer do the repeat work
Automation is a rule that runs by itself. Add AI and the rule can read text, sort pictures or spot patterns. Try these short Python scripts in Google Colab or on your own computer.
Project ideas you can finish in a weekend
Homework reminder bot
A script that prints tomorrow's subjects from a list and the pending tasks for each.
Teachable Machine sorter
Train a model in the browser to tell apart three objects on your desk using your webcam.
Attendance summary
Read a CSV of attendance and produce a per-student percentage with a list of those below 75%.
Spam or not
Train a text classifier on a small set of messages and test it on new ones.
No-code workflow
Use n8n or a similar tool so a new form response lands in a sheet and sends you a message.
Roadmap
Where to start, depending on where you are
Play first, code second
- Try Teachable Machine and Quick, Draw! to see AI learn from you.
- Learn block coding in Scratch, then start Python basics.
- Watch the 3Blue1Brown neural network series for the picture behind the maths.
- Take the Elements of AI course for plain-language concepts.
- Build one small project and show it at your school fair.
Maths, Python, then projects
- Refresh linear algebra, probability and calculus basics.
- Work through Python with NumPy and pandas.
- Take Google's Machine Learning Crash Course and Kaggle Learn.
- Follow fast.ai or CS50 AI and build projects on real datasets.
- Publish your notebooks on GitHub and enter a Kaggle competition.
For educators
Spend less time on paperwork and more time on people
Choose your role. The tasks, chart, 30-day plan and prompts below follow your choice.

What to automate in your day
Each task is tagged. Automate means rules and formulas do it. AI-assist means AI drafts and you decide. Human means keep it with you.

Try it with your own numbers
Everything here runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How many hours will it save?
Pick a task or set your own figures. The chart adds up the saved hours across the year.

Paste marks, see the class
Sample marks are loaded and made up. Replace them with your own marks, separated by spaces, commas or new lines. Use initials or roll numbers elsewhere, never names, if you share a screen.
Automate the frequent, rule-based work first
Tasks in the top right happen often and follow clear rules. Start there. Tasks near the bottom need judgement and care, so they stay with you. Click a legend name to hide a group.
Positions are a judgement, not measured data.
Low effort, real payoff
Spreadsheet formulas and forms cost little to learn and pay back quickly. A full school ERP pays off most but takes the most effort and usually needs management approval.
Scores from 1 to 5 are illustrative.

Automate
Scripts, formulas and no-code recipes
Start with formulas. Move to forms and no-code tools. Use Python when a job is too big for a sheet. Test on a copy of your data first.
Spreadsheet formulas worth knowing
| Job | Formula (Google Sheets or Excel) |
|---|
Python scripts
No-code recipes
Leave request to sheet
A Google Form collects parent notes. Each response lands in a sheet, and a filter shows today’s absences.
Assignment tracker
A form takes submission links. A sheet marks who is late and colours the overdue rows.
Weekly dashboard
One master sheet feeds a summary tab of attendance, fee dues and exam status for your Monday review.
Mail merge letters
Write one letter with placeholders. A merge tool fills each name and prints or emails the set.
Prompt library
Ready-made prompts for AI assistants
Copy a prompt, replace the [brackets] and paste it into an AI assistant. Read and edit every answer before you use it. Do not paste real student names or private details.

Safety and ethics
Use AI with care, honesty and respect for data
AI tools are useful and can be wrong. They also may keep what you type. These rules protect people, especially children, and keep your work your own.
For students
Do
- Ask AI to explain an idea in simpler words, then check it in your textbook.
- Tell your teacher when AI helped with your work.
- Keep your passwords, address, phone number and photos private.
- Check facts, numbers and quotes before you use them.
Do not
- Hand in AI-written work as your own.
- Share a classmate’s name, photo or private details with an AI tool.
- Trust an answer just because it sounds confident.
- Use AI to make fake messages or images of other people.
For teachers, lecturers and principals
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 sets rules for handling personal data, including children’s data. Ask your institution’s management or legal adviser what applies to you, and follow your school or college policy.
Do
- Describe a situation without names, roll numbers or photos.
- Read, check and edit every AI draft yourself.
- Verify facts, dates, formulas and any citations.
- Tell students and parents when AI helped with a message or material.
- Back up your sheets and limit who can edit them.
Do not
- Paste student names, health or family details into a public AI tool.
- Let AI decide marks, promotions or discipline.
- Send an AI message to parents without reading it.
- Share one login among several staff.
- Assume the answer is correct because it sounds confident.
Traffic lights for common tasks
| Task | Light | How to handle it |
|---|---|---|
| Draft a general notice or circular | Green | AI drafts, you edit and approve. |
| Create a worksheet or quiz on a topic | Green | Check answers and difficulty before use. |
| Summarise feedback you have anonymised | Amber | Remove names and identifiers first. |
| Write report comments from private notes | Amber | Use comment starters. Personalise yourself. |
| Calculate marks, grades and ranks | Amber | Use formulas, not AI. Spot-check ten rows by hand. |
| Disciplinary cases, promotions, appraisals | Red | Human decision only, following your policy. |
